Thanks to a local Enoteca owner, we met Luigi from Antica Enotria. Luigi is one of the pioneers of organic farming in Puglia. His strong emphasis on tradition and preservation of ecology result in fantastic wines.
Antica Masseria Caroli
The Caroli family is a jack-of all trades. Apart from the olive mill that has been in the family for generations, the family is now also producing artisanal pasta. Both with their focus on small-scale production and quality.
Antonio Caggiano
Cantine Antonio Caggiono is one of the most important winemakers in the Irpinia region. Here the Taurasi is made: “The Barolo of the South”. Giuseppe and his father produce native high-quality wines.

Manduria is the best place for Primitivi wines. This is where the Brunetti and Erario families make fantastic wines in a traditional way, including the Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale, a unique red dessert wine.

This small winemaker started with the passion of saving Moscato Passito di Saracena from extinction. Alessandro and his family show the same passion to make two excellent reds and a fantastic white.

About 15 miles West of Palermo, we found Leonardo Costantino. A winemaker as we love to see them, small-scale, organic and with a focus on native grapes. Leonardo has a broad range of fantastic wines.
