Puglia is one of the most important wine regions in Italy today. This has certainly not always been the case. Decades ago, the Italian wine world was dominated by the wealthy wineries in the north. They bought grapes and wines from all over Italy, including Puglia, to mix in their blends. Fortunately, this has changed and the Pugliese have realized that the region is ideal for making high-quality wines.

Well known white wine grapes from Puglia are the Fiano and the Falanghina. We offer both from the vineyards of Antica Enotria. Situated close to the sea, and a natural salt pan, these wines have a pleasant minerality. The Fiano is full bodied with aroma's of yellow flowers, while the Falanghina is fresh with tropical fruits. Both wines combine well with seafood and fish-dishes.
