At Mezzogiorno, quality and our farmers are always at the center. This means that we keep our supply chain as cost-effective as possible. Here are some key points:
- We only work directly with our farmers, without expensive intermediaries;
- We have no inventory and no costly warehouses;
- We try to minimize the costs of home delivery as much as possible.
Because we don't like surprises at checkout, there are no additional shipping costs. To keep the cost of home delivery as low as possible, we ask you to order multiple items of the same product most of the time. You can mix and match different items from the same farmer here.
Delivery in the Netherlands
The cost of package delivery in the Netherlands and Belgium is approximately €8 per package. By purchasing multiple units from one farmer, we can distribute the delivery costs across multiple products. As the example next on the right shows, this means that a bottle of wine does not cost €23 but €14.95.
That's why we have chosen to sell wine only in sets of six, but for example, charcuterie in sets of two, olives in sets of six, and pasta in sets of eight or twelve.
